The National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning in effect from noon to 9 p.m. today for western Colorado below 9,000 feet. A Red Flag Warning means critical fire weather conditions are occurring now or will shortly. A combination of strong winds, low relative humidity and warm temperatures will create explosive fire growth potential. Combining with dry fuels, these conditions may create a high probability of large fire growth.
