The National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning in effect from noon to 9 p.m. today for western Colorado below 9,000 feet. A Red Flag Warning means critical fire weather conditions are occurring now or will shortly. A combination of strong winds, low relative humidity and warm temperatures will create explosive fire growth potential. Combining with dry fuels, these conditions may create a high probability of large fire growth.

This year's event, which will be held at 5:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Steamboat Springs Community Center, will benefit Reaching Everyone Preventing Suicide. Tickets can be purchased in advance for $20 at All That Jazz, the Artists' Gallery of Steamboat and Blue Sky Pottery, or at the door for $25.
