Ron Pannesi throws a disc at the basket on the No. 13 hole of the Thunderhead Disc Golf Course Thursday evening. The trees marked with the blue dots are likely to be gone next summer when the Steamboat Ski Area deals with dangerous beetle kill trees in the area.
