Brian Shively, of Elk River Guns, hands a new rifle over to Doug Matthews, of Steamboat Springs, on Saturday afternoon. Shively said business at the Steamboat Springs store has been brisk the past several days, but they've encountered plenty of hunters frustrated by a slow season.
