Dave Freseman, director of the LIFT-UP, accepts a $6,000 check from Margie Morong, City Market store manager. The money was collected from customers who put money in coin boxes set out at the store's checkout stands. The donations were made to help with hunger relief in the Steamboat Springs area. It's the second time City Market has given LIFT-UP a $6,000 donation in the past 12 months. The other was handed out late last summer.
