Linda Laughlin, shown here in the emerging artists' gallery that she started at the Depot Art Center in Steamboat Springs on Thursday, acts as the Visual Arts Director of the Steamboat Springs Arts Council. The council unveiled its new mission at its annual meeting Wednesday.
