Photo detail

Kody Kenyon, 7, at left, stands this weekend in a Wyoming quarry in the Fossil Butte National Monument area. Seated at right is Nicholas Zinn, 7. The two are first-graders at North Routt Community Charter School in Clark, and traveled to the quarry over the holiday weekend to look for fossils while celebrating Kody's birthday. Along with Kody's parents, Doug and Amy Kenyon of North Routt, the children discovered crocodile fossils that are millions of years old and could be worth more than $500,000. They found the crocodile fossils in the area immediately behind the children in this photo.
