A valve regulating water flow to a portion of Hayden’s homes and businesses apparently became stuck Wednesday night, draining the water tank and allowing water pressure to drop. Town officials still are investigating what went wrong.

Ace Romyen of SNL sprays concrete Monday to form a wall at the Old Town Hot Springs. The Routt County Board of Commissioners has agreed to sponsor the construction’s funding through a tax-exempt bond that entitles the recreation center to borrow the money at a lower interest rate.
