Carrie Badanes, center, shovels gravel into a space around the foundation of a Habitat for Humanity house in Steamboat Springs on Thursday morning with help from Rachel Hokanson, wearing an orange hat, and Katie Flament, right. The girls are traveling across the country helping build homes with the other members of a large group called Bike and Build.
