Fred Hughes uses a chainsaw to cut timber Monday. The wood was used to help shore up the More Barn, which has developed into a landmark symbol in Steamboat Springs. A roof beam collapsed at the barn, and an effort is being made to stabilize it before it can undergo a $150,000 refurbishment later this year. Dana Carl of D.C.
