The Last Stand
Steamboat’s Lorin Paley took a second-place women’s open win in the sprint classic event at the 2006 U.S. Telemark Nationals at Big Mountain Ski Resort, Mont., to earn her a spot on the U.S. Telemark Team development squad. Paley has been thirsting for a first-place win this year and has been instrumental in gathering the support to bring the U.S. Nationals to Steamboat later this week.
