Van Muhn died April 2, 2008, after a valiant fight against lymphoma. He was 63.
Van was born Jan. 25, 1945, in Alma, Mich. He is survived and will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Carran; daughters Millicent and Shannon; son-in-law Peter; granddaughter Natasha; mother Melba; brothers Lou and Denny; dog Josie; and everyone who ever knew him.
Retired Lt. Colonel, USAF. Physicist. Ski Instructor. Software consultant. Instrumental in starting St. Benedict’s Episcopal Church. Gentleman. Easygoing host, known for his great taste in wine and beer. Irreverent wise-cracker. Fantastic husband. One of a kind. We will miss him.
