Colorado Highway 131 will be closed periodically from Steamboat Springs to Yampa on Thursday, a change from the initial date of Wednesday. Distinguished Builders is moving a large, old log cabin that will take up a majority of the road, Office Manager Shannon Hurley said. She said Distinguished Builders would start moving the house about 9 a.m. Thursday, beginning at the intersection of U.S. Highway 40 and Colo. 131 and moving in a “rolling roadblock” on Colo. 131 to Yampa. The rolling roadblock will close both directions of the highway, one section at a time. Hurley could not give specific times for when movers will reach certain sections of the highway. Primary detour routes to Steamboat Springs from South Routt County are Routt County roads 14 and 35. Hurley said movers might not reach Yampa until early evening. For more information, call Hurley at 970-846-5927.

That was what I was thinking. Wow, that will be a mess. Maybe a delay of the move is in order.
