2:46 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers conducted a foot patrol near Colorado Mountain College's Alpine Campus.

7:08 a.m. Routt County Sheriff's Office deputies were called to a report of a dog at large in the 400 block of Main Street in Yampa. Deputies caught the dog and returned it to its owner.

7:51 a.m. Police conducted an extra patrol in the 200 block of Park Avenue for a report of drivers parking illegally near Soda Creek Elementary School.

8:34 a.m. Colorado Division of Wildlife officers were called to a report of a wildlife-related trespass at Routt County roads 80 and 56.

8:42 a.m. Police were called to a request for agency assistance at Pine Grove Road and South Lincoln Avenue where a traffic light was not functioning. Officers assisted until Colorado Department of Transportation workers arrived on scene.

9:02 a.m. Police were called to a complaint at Lincoln Avenue and Old Fish Creek Falls Road where a truck reportedly was spewing smoke. Officers could not locate the truck.

9:55 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue emergency responders were called to a report of smoke near Sleeping Giant mountain.

9:57 a.m. Deputies were called to a report of a juvenile situation. No more information was available.

10:05 a.m. Police were called to a report of a truck smoking at Lincoln Avenue and 13th Street. The truck was not on fire.

10:19 a.m. Police were called to a complaint about two dogs in the road in the 31000 block of Ingles Lane. The dogs were gone when officers arrived.

10:40 a.m. Police were called to a report of a man who violated a restraining order by sending e-mail and text messages. Police arrested a 33-year-old Steamboat Springs man on suspicion of violation of a restraining order and harassment.

12:06 p.m. Police and Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue were called to a report of a car spilling gas in a parking lot in Central Park Plaza. Officers and firefighters were unable to find the source of the spill from the car but notified the owner.

12:50 p.m. The Colorado State Patrol notified deputies of a car swerving near mile marker 104 on U.S. Highway 40.

1:07 p.m. Police were called to a report of a theft in Balsam Court where a person reported that a disc was stolen after a computer technician examined the computer.

5:39 p.m. Hayden Police Department officers and West Routt Fire Protection District emergency responders were called to a report of a fire alarm in Hayden.

5:54 p.m. Police were called to a report of a two-car, noninjury car crash at Soda Creek Elementary School. Officers issued a ticket.

6:17 p.m. Police were called to a report of two boys, ages 9 and 10, missing from Zephyr Trail. The two boys were lost for about an hour before they were found playing down the street.

9:13 p.m. Hayden police were called to a report of fraud in the 200 block of Harvest Drive in Hayden.

10:19 p.m. Hayden police were called to a report of a prowler in the 300 block of Breeze Basin Road.
