Broker earns CRS Realtors designation
Steamboat Springs Joan Conroy, of Steamboat Village Brokers Ltd., has received the Certified Residential Specialist Designation from the Council of Residential Specialists, the largest nonprofit affiliate of the National Association of Realtors, according to a news release.
Brokers who receive the designation have completed advanced courses and have demonstrated professional expertise in residential real estate, according to the release.
Conroy consistently has been one of the top-producing brokers in the Steamboat market, the release stated, and adds this credential to the Graduate Realtor Institute designation she has achieved. She can be reached at 879-7800, ext. 116.
Seattle consultant joins data service company
Information technology consultant David Arnold has joined the Northwest Data Services team. Arnold, who came from the Seattle area, specializes in individual and small business systems, including hardware repair, software installation and maintenance, antivirus and backup solutions, networking, and firewall, hardware and software purchase recommendations, as well as HIPPA compliance for computer data, according to a news release. He has experience with platforms including Macintosh, Windows, Linux and Sun/UNIX.
Enterprise zone tax seminars this week
Three seminars about enterprise zone tax credits are scheduled for this week. The presenters are Kevin Tilson, Colorado enterprise zone coordinator, and Aron Diaz, executive director of the Associated Governments of Northwest Colorado.
The two will discuss new-job tax credits, job tax credits for agricultural processing, employer health insurance tax credits, training credits and others. Seminars will be in Oak Creek, Hayden and Craig. The first seminar will run from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday at Hayden Town Hall; the second is 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Oak Creek Town Hall; and the third is 7:45 to 9:45 a.m. at the Moffat County Courthouse in Craig.
