All-day kindergarten tuition lowered

The Steamboat Springs School District has lowered the tuition for all-day kindergarten. Parents will now pay $3,203 for full-day classes, instead of the initial estimate of $5,720 per student.

Relay for Life surpasses goal

The Steamboat Springs Relay for Life has surpassed all fundraising goals set for the event, held the night of Aug. 9. The community event raised a total of $205,700, with more money expected to arrive before the Aug. 31 deadline.
