12:28 a.m. Steamboat Springs police officers arrested a woman on suspicion of driving under the influence at Lincoln Avenue and Ninth Street.
2 a.m. An intoxicated man was taken to detox from Dream Island Plaza.
6:16 a.m. Police officers assisted Department of Human Services workers with giving a Breathalyzer to a client.
7:54 a.m. Someone filed a lost property report for clothes he or she had left in a hotel room in September.
7:57 a.m. An injured dog was reported on U.S. Highway 40 west of Anglers Drive. The dog was with its owner when officers arrived.
9:35 a.m. A piece of heavy equipment backed into a carport in the 2300 block of Val d’Isere Circle and caused significant damage. A report was taken.
12:43 p.m. Someone reported a dog tied to the front of a truck and its owners smoking marijuana on Howelsen Parkway. Police said the people weren’t smoking marijuana, and the dog was OK.
1:33 p.m. An officer was requested in the 300 block of South Lincoln Avenue for a woman who was causing a scene. The woman left before officers arrived.
2:20 p.m. An incoherent woman walked to the fire station to ask for help and then left in a vehicle.
4:36 p.m. An officer was requested to the baseball fields at Howelsen Hill, where a group of juveniles reportedly were lighting fires. The children were pouring rubbing alcohol on dirt and igniting it. Officers gave them a warning.
