Stolen car found hours later in nearby field A car that was reported stolen early Sunday morning in Toponas was found hours later in a field just 11 miles away. At about 5:30 a.m. Sunday, the owners of the Toponas store called to say their 1993 Mercury Tracer had been stolen sometime the night before, Routt County investigator Ken Klinger said. The car was unlocked and the keys were inside.
