Why you should go: This annual cross-country skiing and snowshoeing event benefits Advocates Against Battering and Abuse. The organization's mission is to decrease and eliminate domestic and sexual violence through crisis prevention, community education, advocacy, counseling and other services. This year's event theme is "Flashback to the '80s." The Yampa Valley Boys will provide live music.
