Why you should go: Aside from providing the chance to don that old prom dress (or a much more fabulous ‘80s thrift store version), this Local Brigade event is a fundraiser to send a handful of folks to do service work in New Orleans. Additional proceeds will go to Relief Spark, a nonprofit organization dedicated to rebuilding and rehabilitating the Crescent City.
