Engagement: Acker and Hodgden

Wally and Jan Acker, formerly of Steamboat Springs and now residing in Silverthorne, would like to announce the engagement of their daughter Ann Gelene Acker to J. Randy Hodgden, son of Sheri Vigil of Arvada.
Ann graduated from Lowell Whiteman High School in 1995 and graduated from Metropolitan State College in 2001. She works for Stanford University as a marketing coordinator and lives in Los Altos, Calif., with Randy.
Randy graduated from Overland High School in 1994 and is a graphic designer who recently acquired Knight Ridder Digital.
Ann and Randy will be married June 2, 2007, in Keystone. They will continue to reside in Los Altos, Calif., after a honeymoon in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

Engagement: Heinert and Voyek

Mr. and Mrs. Ross Heinert of Steamboat Springs would like to announce the engagement of their daughter Darci Lynn Heinert to Corey Scott Voyek, son of Jeff Voyek and Kim Johnson of Steamboat. They currently live in Fort Collins.
Corey is an account executive for NovaStar Mortgage, Inc. Darci is an independent health insurance agent for AmeriQuote Insurance and Aflac. They plan to wed Nov. 24 in Steamboat.

Engagement: Daschle and Patel

Vishnu and Dipika Patel of Yorktown Heights, N.Y., and Dave and Cheri Daschle of Steamboat Springs are happy to announce the engagement of Michael Daschle and Amy Patel. Mike is a class of 2000 graduate of Steamboat Springs High School, and graduated in 2004 from the United States Military Academy at West Point. Amy is a 2001 graduate of Yorktown High School, and a 2005 graduate from West Point. Both are actively serving in the Army and are posted at Fort Campbell, Ky. A spring wedding is planned.

Engagement: Manzanares and Slingerland

Gib and JoAnn Manzanares of Steamboat Springs, together with Reed and Judy Slingerland of Pagosa Springs, announce the engagement of their children, Dawnelle Grace Manzanares and Wade Leon Slingerland.
Wade is a 1994 graduate of Steamboat Springs High School. He graduated from Colorado State University in 1998 with a bachelor of science degree in finance.
Dawnelle graduated from Steamboat Springs High School in 1997 and also attended Colorado State University, receiving a bachelor of science degree in design and merchandising in 2002.
The couple resides in Durango where Wade appraises real estate and Dawnelle is an office manager at a jewelry company and also sells her own handcrafted jewelry.
They are planning an April wedding in Tulum, Mexico.
