Julie O'Meara, daughter of Skip and Dolly O'Meara, and Barbara O'Meara, was married to Michael Anthony Olimpio, son of Salvatore and Connie Olimpio, on Oct. 22, 2009, at the Evergreen Lakehouse in Evergreen. Elizabeth Englert, Kris Stroemme and Megan O'Meara were bridesmaids. Salvatore Olimpio and David Olimpio were groomsmen. Amanda Englert was the flower girl. The bride is from Steamboat, and the groom is from Richardson, Texas. The couple lives in Lakewood.

Naomi Lang and Lenny Kline, of Steamboat Springs, were married Sept. 19, 2009. The couple originally is from Minnesota. Naomi is a fifth-grade teacher, and Lenny is a golf course superintendent at Catamount Ranch and Club.

Lindsay Veronica Kole was married to Sean Peter Battiste on Sept. 25, 2009, at Graystone Manor in Steamboat Springs. Lindsay is the daughter of Audrey Veronica and Christopher Bunn, of Venice, Fla., and John Mathew and Deb Kole, of Steamboat Springs. Sean is the son of Jacqueline and A.D. Muma, of Hastings, Mich., and the late William P. Battiste Jr. Esq. Lindsay Lu Fait was the maid of honor. Jakki Kole, Jodi Burke and Sarena Morris served as bridesmaids, and Ingrid Heideman was the flower girl. Leif McCole was best man. Groomsmen included John Battiste, Matt Gaylor, Bernie Tomasetti and Ben McGowan. The couple is honeymooning in Cancun, Mexico, and live in Steamboat.

Grinolds and Voyek
Kayloni Grinolds and Tyson Voyek are happy to announce their engagement. The couple was engaged in April in Maui, Hawaii. Kayloni is a 2006 graduate of Moffat County High School and is employed at Wildhorse Salon in Steamboat Springs. She is the daughter of Kelly Grinolds, of Craig, and Cindy Biskup, of Mesquite, Nev. Tyson is a 2002 graduate of Steamboat Springs High School and is employed by Voyek Masonry of Steamboat Springs. He is the son of Jeff Voyek and Kim Johnson, of Steamboat Springs. Kayloni and Tyson will be married in June 2010 in Mesquite.

David and Lura Gerhart, of Steamboat Springs, celebrated their two-year wedding anniversary Sept. 22. They were married at Fish Creek Falls in a sunrise ceremony. The couple is pictured at Sunset Beach in North Carolina in August.

The Smith, Rygg and Schjellerud families are pleased to announce the marriage of their children Brooke Rygg and Tor Erik Schjellerud on Sept. 4, 2009, in the Elizabethan Gardens in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. A reception followed on the Hiltons Kitty Hawk Pier House. Brooke, from Steamboat Springs, is the daughter of Deb and Barry Smith, of Steamboat, and Carl and Mai-Britt Rygg, of Buckeye, Ariz. Tor Erik, from Gjovik, Norway, is the son of Oestein and Toril Schjellerud. Brooke graduated from The Lowell Whiteman School in 2000 and took a year off to ski train in Norway, where she met Tor Erik. She returned to the U.S. to attend the University of Colorado, graduating in 2005 with a degree in international relations and skiing on CU's Nordic ski team. Tor Erik attended high school in Gjovik, Norway, and graduated from the University of Lillehammer with a degree in economy. He then attended CU-Boulder for 2 years, studying business and also skied on their Nordic ski team. The couple returned last week from their honeymoon in Antigua to their home in Gjovik, Norway, where Brooke has worked for two years for Robinson Scandinavia as a sales and operations executive. Tor Erik works for the city of Gjovik as an economy consultant. We hope to see the couple in Steamboat often.

Megan Jo Meek and David Lawrence Ramig Jr. were married Aug. 21, 2009, at the home of the bride's parents. The ceremony was officiated by Glen Ellis, the uncle of the groom. Music was provided by Steve Boynton, and soloist Gib Manzanares sang "Our Song," by Elton John. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kelly Meek, of Steamboat Springs. The groom is the son of Dr. David Ramig Sr., of Springboro, Ohio, and Leigh Cardwell, of St. Louis. The bride is a graduate of Steamboat Springs High School and Stephens College in Columbia, Mo. The groom graduated from Red Oak High School in Ohio and Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Megan, Dave and Megan's daughter, Mayla Meek-Reid, live in Denver.

Bob and Terri Schneider, of Moscow, Idaho, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Jaycie Lee Schneider, to Christopher Lane Frentress, son of Kurt and Vonnie Frentress, of Hayden. The bride-to-be graduated in 2008 from Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Science in biology. She is now in her sophomore year earning her doctorate from Washington State University's College of Veterinary Medicine, Class of 2012. Her fiance is a 2005 graduate of Hayden High School and 2008 graduate of Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Science in agricultural business. Christopher is pursuing his career in agriculture working for himself and for the Frentress family ranch operation. The couple is planning a late July 2010 wedding in Steamboat Springs.

Mike Ramsey and Judy Black, of Steamboat Springs, along with Lynda Chavez, of Denver, and Felix Chavez, of Granite Bay, Calif., are pleased to announce the wedding of their children, Steven James Chavez to Jennifer Day Ramsey, on Sept. 26. The wedding will take place at the home of Mike Ramsey in Clark. Jennifer Ramsey and Steven Chavez will continue to live in Denver. Jennifer Ramsey has a graphic design business called J Design, and Steven Chavez has a Brazilian Soapstone importing business called Dorado Soapstone.

The couple honeymooned in Paris. David is a partner at Feldmann, Nagel & Associates. Aimee is an advertising consultant at the Steamboat Pilot & Today.

Rex Arthur Main and Amanda Leigh Phillips were married June 8, 2009. Their officiant was Jonathan Melvin, and friend of the couple Abby Bushnell assisted them every step of the way. They had photographs taken in the Yampa River Botanic Park after their vows. Amanda graduated from Augusta State University in Augusta, Ga., in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism. She is a copy editor and page designer at the <cite>Steamboat Pilot & Today</cite>. Rex graduated from Augusta State University in Augusta, Ga., in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in TV and cinema. He was the creative services director at the CBS affiliate in Grand Junction until he decided to move to Steamboat Springs in March. The couple moved separately to Colorado from Georgia in 2008. They now reside together in Steamboat Springs.

Susan Knodel and the late Steve Knodel, of Idalia, announce the engagement of their daughter, Andrea Kay, to Tucker Ray Louthan, son of Zane and Katy Louthan, of Phippsburg. The bride-to-be graduated in 2006 from Idalia High School in Idalia and is a junior at Kansas State University majoring in agricultural education. Her fiance is a 2004 graduate of Soroco High School in Oak Creek and is a 2009 graduate of Colorado State University with a degree in agricultural education. Tucker is working on the Knodel Farm and Ranch. The couple plan to make their home in Manhattan, Kan., while Andrea finishes her degree. They plan to marry at 4 p.m. Aug. 8, 2009, at the United Methodist Church in St. Francis, Kan.
