The Longevity Project is an annual campaign to help educate readers about what it takes to live a long, fulfilling life in the Yampa Valley. This year’s project will focus on the critical and relevant topic of mental health. Join us on Wednesday, Sept. 22, for presentations from keynote speaker Kevin Hines and Meghan Francone, suicide prevention coordinator of REPS (Reaching Everyone Preventing Suicide) in Moffat County.

Suicide Prevention & Mental Health Advocate
Kevin is an award-winning global speaker, best-selling author, documentary filmmaker, and suicide prevention and mental health advocate who has reached millions with his story of an unlikely survival and his strong will to live.
Meghan Francone, suicide prevention coordinator of REPS (Reaching Everyone Preventing Suicide) in Moffat County, will present training in QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) — the three simple steps anyone can learn to help save a life from suicide. Francone’s presentation will touch on how to recognize the warning signs of suicide, how to offer hope, and how to get help and save a life.
